Experience Required for Soil Conservation Assam Recruitment for Officers and Managers:
Assistant Soil Conservation Officer – At least 8 (eight) year’s experience as Soil Conservation Ranger or Forest Ranger under the Govt. of Assam.

Selection Process of Soil Conservation Assam Recruitment for Officers and Managers:
- A 300 marks examination will be held for three papers having 100 marks each:
- Paper I: General Knowledge
- Paper II: General English
- Paper III: Optional Subjects of any of the following:
- Agriculture, Agriculture Engineering, Botany, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Forestry,Horticulture, Physics, Zoology
- The paper will be OMR Objective Type of Computer based (CBT)
- There will be negative marking @.25 against each wrong answer.
- The total number of candidates to be shortlisted for personality Test / interview will be at the ratio of 1:5 and the interview will not carry more than 12.2 percent of the total marks of the screening test.
